I'm not really fat but sometimes I feel really heavy for some reason explain please?
Answer:
Muscle mass has weight. We all slow down as we get older, even ones in incredible shape, like you.
Gee, I don't know, but could it be because you are carrying around 38 more pounds now? How long ago was it that you weighed only 148 pounds? Unless you are 'very heavily muscled' you are 'fat' ... your waist is larger, your legs are larger, you NECK is even larger, and your head. You are also 'older' ... and unless you are under 25, you are basically 'normal' if you 'feel heavier' ...
Okay, there is a 'good side' to this ... although you don't say how much 'cardio and strength training you do per week', you are probably 'fairly well muscled' ... and that (ahem) you heard that 'better muscles mean more speed and lightness' is ALL WRONG ... but you ARE healthier, even though you are 'a bit overweight' (you should weigh no more than 175-180 lbs). Why don't you try 'adding' some stretching and some 'movement' (take a dance class ... you'll look GREAT on the floor) to your cardio and strength training. You shouldn't need to go on a diet if you just 'add some different exercises' and as you grow more 'graceful' (which both stretching and movement are aimed at doing) you'll feel 'lighter' ... not just 'lighter' than your 'smaller weight' but also because you will 'move differently' ... so get out there and stretch and dance ... but keep up with your cardio and strength training too ... you will live to be a 'very old man' and you want to look just as good when you are 95 as you do now, don't you. HAVE FUN!
