Atkins minister to please?

i love chips but i know thats not on the menu i bought some low carb tortias and i was thinking almost pan frying them near veg. oil or cooking them contained by the oven with butter would the atkin count stay one and the same or go up?? please advocate

On the forum I frequent, someone has a recipe for "cheese chips" , I regard as they just fry peices of cheese until crispy. Others do this next to pepperoni. I like to use pork rinds instead of corn chips, I dip them surrounded by salsa (yum!). My next project is to try to form nachos with them.

If you fry chips you'll be tallying fat but not getting rid of the starches. In Atkins, you can't fool your body even though you incorporate fats. Chips will be detected as starches.
