Can I lose weight by eating nothing and exercising a little?

I'm trying to lose weight this summer, and I hate exercising so much. I know this is bit of a problem, but I'm pretty good at not eating anything. So would it be okay if I just drank Diet Coke and like a piece of bread and only 30 minutes-1 hour of exercise?

Answer:
sure you will lose weight, but as soon as you start eating anything, your body will absorb very ounce of fat, and you'll gain weight & probably weigh more than what you started with.

not healthy by any measure!

you'd lose weight faster & keep it off you if you ate five small meals a day (this keeps your metabolism moving), NO SODA, and exercise 30 min a day.
if you do that, your gonna lose so much weight in a very small amount of time, its not only unhealthy but it can land you in the hospital and you will gain the weight faster than you lost it
yes you can. But it is very unhealthy to not eat, your body needs food and calcium to stay healthy
well, you'll be skinny when they stuff your body in the box at the funeral home.
No, don't do that! It's dangerous and will only melt your body's muscles... not fat. Eat healthy, exercise, and rate your process by how your clothes fit, not your weight. Ask your doctor with questions.
That might be the stupidest thing you can do other than not eating at all. It's not good to not eat. You will lose weight but 90% of it will be muscle first. You will still have the body fat. The body will store fat as an emergency when you don't eat. It will then allow the body to burn muscle for energy. That is why you can look at most "skinny" girls and they are still considered obese because they starve themselves and all the weight they have on their body is fat. It's true. A lot of skinny health looking girls are technically considered obese because of the high % of body fat. Go to www.muscleandstrength.com. This website will help you determine how many calories you need to maintain the weight you are at. If you cut that by 500 calories you will lose weight. Make sure your diet consists of 30% protein 50% carbs and 20% fats. You will need to do some exercise. The website has examples of workouts you can do to trim the fat. Good Luck and Stay Motivated.

*Give up the Diet Coke. Just because it says diet doesn't mean it's good for you. It just means that it's not as bad as regular coke.
if you eat nothing or coke and a piece of bread its the worst thing you can do to your body. what you wana do is eat small quantities every 3 hours or so. something small like a healthy sandwich, can of tuna, or a salad, ect. that way your body will always have something to run on. exercise can be simple as taking a walk or a mild jog. try to make it fun because if you dont youll workout for about a week and call it quits. when you eat nothing your body thinks it is starving itself and will start to store fat in your body then it will begin to attack your muscle cells for energy. now it may seem like you are loosing weight but it is only muscle weight and muscle weighs more than fat, not to mention you are storing fat on top of the muscle weight you are loosing...hope that helps
No it's not because if you only drink diet coke and a piece of bread, you will more than likely get dehyrdated because your body needs water; not carbonated sodas. Also it's not good to starve yourself because when you do that, you will slow down your metabolism hence, if you start eating normally again, you will gain a lot of weight.

It would be good for you stick with a dietary plan instead of eating a piece of bread and drinking coke.

I would recommend you to look for a dietary plan either online or go to a dietician:)
No. My formula is(weightlifting): A lot of weight, little exercises, little repetitions, more series. If the energy you burn is>the energy you get from rest, & nutrition, you'll not progress. Sleep 9 hours a day, and eat fruits, vegetables, whole wheats, and no salt(herbs, or mrsdash are the best options for this assasin(salt)). Exercise will keep the death away @ least 15 years.
To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.
