Answers: Well, and within France and other places (not so much anymore) they tend to serve you better quality food but smaller quantity of it (think a yummy piece of expensive chocolate vs. a piece of chocolate pie)..... so he feels smug after eating a small amount.
it would be approaching ordering a kids rime cream cone or baby cone ... you're drinking what you like but smaller amount of it in one sitting.
