Can a competitive runner eat potato chips and still be able to run at his peak?

Answer:
I don't see why not.

It depends how often you snack on potato chips. Consider that if you do it too often you could cause weight gain and slow yourself up.

Every once in awhile shouldn't hurt, just make sure you eat plenty of forms of complex carbs in whole-wheat products for energy along with protein for your leg muscle your working.

Hope that helps.
