Energy drinks?
Answer:
don't drink energy drinks! when you get use to it, your body really depends on it. And also, energy drinks kick in for several hours and after that, your body is dead!
trust me, i'm an architecture major (sleepless nights) and i depend on energy drinks. NOT GOOD FOR YA!
there actually very bad for you. basicly its all sugar and caffeine. just drink coffe
well if you stay up all night when you drink them later in the day. drink them when you first get up. They're not good for you but yeah they do taste good and can keep you awake when needed.
Depending on the brand you are drinking would depend on the amount of caffeine. The good ones have very low sugar or carbs. Caffeine is not the main cause of the "pick-me-up" affect. Vitamin B12 is. I market a product that is as healthy as a "energy drink" can be. I would recommend not drinking one unless you want to stay awake for a few extra hours. email me if you want to discuss this further. I have researched many energy drinks due to my business. I would be happy to help you but I need more info.
You know it is funny I took a look at my soda pop can ingredients and then what is in a "energy" drink and they are the same! The only thing that is different is they use even more sugar (or sugar substitute like corn syrup) and caffeine. So they are like Jolt or now I think I saw new Pepsi "max" that is the same and they even try to hide the fact any more. They just sock it too you in the price.
Personally caffeine doesn't really effect me much, but I certainly have lived on sugar at times. The problem of course with sugar is that it will spike you way up, and then you will crash even lower then when you started (goes for any pick up, but is real steep with sugar). People always talk about caffeine, but forget just what sugar can do too.
But like all stimulants as your body gets use to them it will take more and more to have the same affect. The very fact that you drink it so seldom keeps the affect pretty high.
