Why do I feel less hungry after I exercise?
Answer:
Wrong.
You are less hungry because your blood is concentrated in your muscle cells, and not your digestive organs. In fact, it's a bad idea to eat a heavy meal before/after you exercise.
Eventually, you will be more hungry than if you exercised because your muscle cells will be depleted of glycogen (energy).
it depends on what sport i guess.
some sports sort of fill you with energy and you also get full.
other sports just make you tired.
and some sports make you really really hungry, like swiming.
it varis on the person and the type of workout too.
possibly because after excersizing your bodys nervous system is busy with other functions such as breathing heart rate possible pain umm other things like that so it no longer sees hunger as a top priority
No, actually, exercise will suppress your appetite for several hours, up to 6-8 hours. It's after that that you will start to feel hungrier than usual. Exercise can also affect your sleep habits, it will keep you awake if you exercise too close to your normal bedtime.
have you noticed something. yoi dont feel hungry when you have a fever too. that is because the increased temperature on the body acts as an antagonist to the appetite centre in the medulla of the brainstem., which inturn makes you feel full and not hungry at all
It's weird because when I was about 5 years old till 14, after I did any type of excercise I got hungry.
When I turned 15 (i'm 16 right now) it became the opposite.
Best bet would be metabolism and hormones.
exerise releases endorfins and they make you happy and your happy and tired you just dont feel hungry
