in good health if your already thinking about desserts, your diet isnt going to stir very far. of late think, would you a bit be happy for 2 minutes(the time taken to put away the dessert) or the rest of your life self skinny and fit. But to answer your question...in recent times eat alot of vegetables.
I read surrounded by this one book that diets really do not matter. As long as you bearing an hour a day, don't put away after 6, drink a class of water every morning, and thieve vitamins, you will lose weight. May be true.
If your going on a diet, an artificial sweetner you could use is Stevia. Its not similar to sweet and low or anything bad for you. It straight from the plant and does not contain any artificial content. The lone place i know that sells it is Trader Joes.

In the Atkins diet you are allowed to eat foods that are elevated in podgy and protein. When I did it long ago, I ate alot of eggs (scrambled, fried, deviled, etc). I was also liberal next to mayo in chicken salads. As far as deserts be in motion, you really have to take care with how much and what gentle you eat. If you chomp through anything with sugar, you may throw yourself out of ketosis (your fat-burning state). There are sugar-free and low carb candies, cookies, etc out at hand that you can eat near moderation. But also be aware that these foods contain sugar alcohols which can upset your stomach. BTW, I don't recommend this diet for long-term.
