Hunger probs?

You are not weird or anything, your body is in the process of growing right now. Hormones, etc. are changing and your body needs the nutrients/energy to keep this going (so it tells you its hungry and that you NEED to eat). I recommend snacking on lots of fruit and veg and if you want something to fill you up so that you dont feel like you are eating all the time eat brown rice (with whatever you like on it~soy sauce or ?) because brown rice is very very good for you (as well as fruit and veg) but dont just eat those, you need a variety in your diet. At 13 and 119 pounds it sounds like you are VERY healthy..I know it probably doesnt feel like it because the Western world is obsessed with being ULTRA thin stick figures but really, you WANT your body to grow and so you need those nutrients, otherwise later on you'll look like one of those androgynous catwalk models who people wonder if they are man or woman. Seriously, you are NORMAL! (if I was you I would totally take advantage of the high metabolism your body has right now and eat whatever I wanted) but that is just me LOL
Eat healthy, find a food pyramid and make sure you put it up on the refridgerator so you can check off what you are getting to eat in the day and what you still need. That way it wont seem so bad when you get a craving and then you look at the pyramid and go, "oh well, I still have to have this and this and that".
u should get enough sleep and eat six small meals a day.
If your eating times fluctuate every day, it could cause a problem, but it's unlikely to become that big of an issue. You should try to eat three full meals a day, or many small meals throughout the day to keep your energy up. If you eat a lot of junk food, that can just make you more hungry because it's nutritional value is terrible. If you eat a lot throughout the day, but don't want to eat more: brush your teeth. It will give you a clean feeling, and a reminder that it will taste bad if you eat, and you will just have to brush them again when you're done.
At 13, you should be listening to your body. Chance are, if you are hungry, you are growing and need to eat. Just watch what you eat, and try to avoid the quick and easy junk food. Fruits/nuts/veggies are always a good snack. But if you need more than that, just eat.

I have two boys who are just like you, always hungry.
You know how I solve that problem?
My kids do these:
1) Eat 5 to 6 times a day.
2) Eat lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs
(low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein.)
3) Reduce their sugar intake and simple carbs. They make
you hungry fast. They have also cut their junk food on their own.
4) Oh, they still eat the occasional ice cream
5) And they take plenty of milk, cheese, yoghurt and some dark chocolates.
My kids are very healthy and lean.

Yes you need to have 3 nice meals a day. If you feel hungry or anything in between go get some celery or an apple. Remember it takes about 20 min. once you are full for it to reach your brain. So eat slow and enjoy your means. When you eat cereal even if it is the "good kind" look at how many calories it has per serving that usually 1 cup. Not a bowel of Special K just 1 bowel. So about 1 to 1.5 cups is all you need with a small glass of juice. then like I said eat celery or an apple or orange for a snack. Lunch should be the biggest meal of the day not dinner. Dinner should be a slid and soup or a sandwich and soup. with maybe a cup of ice cream or sorbet for after. Drink plenty of water, it rehydrates you and will make your skin look better as well. Try to put some lemon in the water if you do not like to drink just water. Also try not to eat anything after 7:00 at night, that way it is digested by the time you go to bed. And get some exercise, if your feeling upset or mad go for a good walk and get some of that energy out of your system. Then you will feel better. You may want to try the Smart Ones in the frozen food isle if the grocery story get like 3 or4 and try then and see what you think about them, They are always good for a quick dinner. Just find the ones you like. The lean coziness are good to. So cut out the soda to one a day and drink water, and eat right. Its hard but there are places online that will show you what the recommended servings should be. And exercise, hey when you get upset with your father or boyfriend that’s the best time to go on a good 2 to 3 mile walk. just make sure you walk at a good pace. To slow and you wont do as much good.. Just don’t over do it. Remember its a life time change so do something you will somewhat enjoy. Good luck to you and keep your head up! :)
