Anyone lost any weight recently?

how'd u do it?

Answer:
No, trying to lose some weight before the end of summer.
Yes, I lost 8kg in the last two weeks, because I've been having gallstone attacks. I didn't eat anything with protein or fat in it.

Mostly, I survived on soup made from water, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, garlic, celery, and silver beet. It tasted pretty good (to my starving self). I put a little bit of rice milk (low fat and low protein) in it when I had been pain free for a couple of days. I drank/ate as much of it as I wanted (needed to keep up fluids and nutrients because I'm still breastfeeding).

I also ate green apples, which are supposed to help dissolve gallstones. The pectin in apples is also reported to be very good for weight loss.

I think the breastfeeding helped me to shed the kilos more rapidly.

I've found, in the past, that saying "no" to ALL foods with fat in them, and then eating as much as I want of healthy other foods (ie no lollies!), the weight drops off. Faster if exercising and limiting sugar intake.

The hot watery soup thing works well, because the heat tricks your tummy into thinking you've just had something high in calories.

Good luck.

Added: I read somewhere that drinking milk (ie skim "no fat" milk) can also help to boost weight loss.
I lost 31 lbs more than a year ago. The most important thing is I maintained my 108 lbs since then.

I did these
1) Eat 5 to 6 times a day.
2) Eat lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs
(low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein.)
3) Reduce sugar intake and simple carbs. They make
you hungry fast. Cut junk food .
4) Take 2 to 3 cups of low fat milk, cheese, yoghurt and some dark chocolates.
5) Exercise. Mine is brisk walking, an hour every weekday morning.

Details in my blog.
