You may have gotten an STD from your life-partner
i think it is a good thing when you are sore. I feel like whenever i am sore, i am forming muscles.
Oh yeah!! That means your muscles are repairing from the big work out they had. This is good...it means you are firming and building your muscles.
Good job. you're motivating me - thanks!
Its excellent.
Let 'em heal, then rip them again
a really good workout should leave your muscles sore for about 48 hours. any more and you may have damaged something. any less and you probably didnt work out to your full potential.
sore is just your body asking for more
Muscle soreness after exercise is called delayed onset muscle soreness. It's perfectly normal after adding a new exercise to your routine or doing something particularly intense; you can take it as a sign that your exercise was effective and that you're making your muscles bigger. There's some debate about it's cause, but a lot of people say it's from muscles repairing themselves or from the muscles not returning to their relaxed state after working out. You can relieve it in the future by stretching the muscles after exercising. Once it sets in, however, you can take pain relievers if you really need them, or you can use a heating pad or hot pack. Wait until the soreness is gone or almost gone before exercising again. Some people find that exercise a second time and stretching will alleviate minor soreness, and you'll probably find that you don't get very sore once you've done several workouts. Good luck on your workout regimen!
