How to loose 20 pounds before agust 20th?

im pre teen and needs to loose weight before school starts i hate having to spend hours a day putting on clothes for the next day but all i want is to wake up and dont have to worry how i look in the clothes it make me cry cry cry that my mom is skinner than me and even her clothes dont look good on me

I wake up like that everday. I am 13 yrs old and i weight 165 pounds. I put clothes on and i feel that i look ugly in them. And i also look at my mom. She is skinny and very pretty. That is why i am on a diet to reach where she is. Just do cardio like bikeriding and jogging and do crunches and situps for your tummy and any other excersises you like to do like jumproping. And eat healthy food.
No matter what you do don't worry about your body so much. Ya in today's society it sucks if you feel like your chubbier than everyone but it's your body and no one has the right to make you feel like less of a person. If you want to be at a healthier weight and you just want to be healthy then exercise and cut down on how much you eat at each meal and try not to eat snacks.

Drink as much water as possible because that will keep your stomach full. Just dance to your ipod because getting up and dancing is exercise plus its effin fun!!
we have the same goal my mom isn't skinnier than me but around the same size at an older age (30-40) you can ride your bike everyday 2-4 laps go to your local track and run as much as you can at least a mile if you can and if you have a friend that's trying the same thing you both can work out together and if you want to start a diet you can eat lower amounts because if you try to starve yourself you'll be hungry and get tempted to eat large amounts.
20lbs by August 20th maybe a bit ambious. The body can normally lose about 2 lbs a week safely which would be more like 12 lbs by then. If you want to lose the weight there are two keys Diet and exercise.

You need to start doing some for of physical exercise at least 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes a day, whether it is running, riding a bike or going to the gym and using an eliptical machine.

The other is diet, you need to cut out all the junk food and snacks (chips, fast food, sweets etc) and replace it with healthier foods like grilled chicken, salads (no dressing too much fat), egg whites, oatmeal with water not milk (no topings), tuna fish, Turkey, veggies etc.

You should probable consume no more that 1250 calories a day broken up into 6 meal space at 3 hour intervals. You should keep the ratio of carbs at about 45%, protein 45% and fats at 10%. (check out fitday for a free diet diary)

Also, your intake of water is extremely important since it keeps your metabolism regular. Take you body weight and multiple by .70 and that will give you the number of oz you should consume in a day.
