I Jump-Roping Bad for your Brain?
Answer:
If it be bad for brain, running and other big impact sports would be bad for your brain also.
If you do not enjoy any previous injuries or joint problems that might be artificial by the impact then I read aloud go for it. Try to avoid jump on concrete, as this will make the impact worse, instead lunge on grass, a wooden or carpeted floor or a mat.
You can vary the giving of jumping you do also by varying speed or height of you hop (a double turn of the rope on each jump). You can also step 1 foot at a time like rather jog, or bring your knees up as elevated as you can (once again with 1 foot at a time).
Jumping rope can be tough going but is a great exercise as it will burn calories, increase coordination and cardio fitness, work your muscles and stengthen your bones. If you can one and only skip for a few minutes at a time then break up your workout and conceivably do 3 lots of 10 minutes instead of 1 x 30min. As your fitness improves extend the time so that you are continually offensive yourself.
