Is walking on a treadmill virtuous exercise for losing consignment?

I have changed my diet. I put away ALOT of salads and fish and chicken and I walk for 30 to 60 minutes on a treadmill several times a week. I own lost 5 pounds in almost a week, but kind of stopped losing weightiness or at least hold not noticed it as much. I also get through alot of fresh fruit. I was wondering if what i am doing is a apt way to lose bulk. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated!!

Answer:
What you are doing is exactly right for cargo loss, sounds like your diet is spot on and you are exercising at a acceptable rate. Our bodies burn fat best as we exercise at almost 65-75% of the max heart rate for our age and sex. The only item I could suggest would be to make sure the treadmill is going at a sufficient speed for you to undertake the right heart rate. You might like to consider other pious exercises like eliptical trainers and the rowing appliance for a bit of variety. I am a big disciple of using the skipping rope - building up to 30 mins of rope skipping is a great workout for the whole body. Don't forget that as the body loses solid and increases muscle fibre, solidity alone is not always the best indicator of fitness since muscle cellulose actually weigh more than body fat.
Good luck, and stay motivated! Your body will love you for it.
You can try to increase the intensity of your workouts by alternating 5 min of walking next to a minute of jogging and so on. As you become more physically fit, increase the amounts of jog. This will certainly clutch you off the weight-loss plateau and re-charge your freight loss.

Good luck!
I have four comments for you:

Curb your fruit intake, since you're trying to lose shipment. Fruit is healty, but it contains lots of natural sugars, which can throw stale your blood sugar and actually engineer you hungrier.

If you've stopped losing weight, you involve to kick up the intensity of your workouts. If you're not sweating profusely by the finish off of your workout, that's a definate sign you're not working at mount level. Increase your treadmill's incline or resistance horizontal.

Watch salad dressings, which are notorious for containing elevated fat and carb level.

Consider adding resistance training or cargo lifting to your workout. Even if you just elevate dumb bells or put on ankle weights while you walk. You'll mind a difference.
WELL WALKING ON A TREDMILL MIGHT BE GOOD EXCERSICE FOR PEOPLE WHO DEDICATE THIER TIME TO KEEPING THERE BODY IN SHAPE SO JUST SPEND YOU EXTRA TIME WALKING AND OFCOURSE YOU WILL LOSE WIEGHT

GOOD LUCK.. OH AND NO CHEATING =P
Everything you mentioned gets the thumps Up... It a moment ago takes time is adjectives...
Try and exercise at a higher hard work level, target something similar to 70% of your maximum heart rate, and instead of staying at 70% for the entire duration of your workout, go down to 60% and after go up to 75-80%. This oscillation will relieve burn fat. Also, instead of walking on the treadmill, alternate between the treadmill and some cargo training, which will help you tone and also increase your metabolism rate for longer.
why yes walking is really great! BUUUT running on a treadmill will do wonders for an hourglass shape. :)
