Selovacs or celovax is a slimming drug that makes you feel full after taking it before a meal; it swells up?

This drug is supposed to swell in your stomach and when taken before a meal it encourages you to eat less. What if any are the side effects.

Answer:
Celevac is simply methyl cellulose which bulks you up and gives a sensation of fullness. The theory sounded good, in practice it really didn't work. I haven't seen any doctors even try and use it for this indication for many years, though it does have some other uses.

I am concerned that 20% of all Answers Health questions are looking for easy weight loss. It is just not going to happen!

The average adult is 2 stone yes TWO STONE heavier than in 1960!

We are just a nation of lazy sods who will not take regular exercise and will swallow any useless pill or go on any daft diet, rather than get off the couch and REGULARLY eat less.

It is no big secret, there is no magic trick! Eat a bit less and do a LOT more! How difficult is that to understand?
why don't you do it the natural way instead of risking your health? I find porridge keeps me full for hours, its the only thing that's ever helped me to lose weight and it's healthy too.
