If you want to gain weight, I guess it could help because it has calories. why not just have a healthy high calorie meal though like a bagel with all natural peanut butter (and maybe some of that honey too, and sliced banana and cinnamon...mmm...) +something with lots of natural sugars and antoxidants like fresh pomegranite juice? That whole meal is antoxidant city right there.
And I'm updating to the person below me, what do you mean honey has no sugar? Its actually 17.2 g of sugar per tablespoon, which is why it should be used in moderation.

honey is better for you then sugar and natural honey has antioxidents that are good for your body too. honey also helps if you have a scratchy throut.
provided that you eat well throughout the rest of the day, a teaspoon of honey shouldn't harm you. i put that much in my morning oatmeal. it's only about 25-30 calories in exchange for natural sugars and antioxidants.
