Silly question- why does my proboscis run when I put away any sort of teatime?
Answer:
That's not a silly question, it's a tricky one.
There are a couple of different reason.
First, some speech therapists (rehab specialists who focus on the brain, come first, and neck) will tell us that the feeler runs when we're eating and drinking, sometimes, because food or drink finds its agency into our lungs.
If you've not had pneumonia just this minute, I wouldn't be too concerned about that (if you enjoy, i'd definitely ask your doctor to charge a modified barium swallow).
Another possibility (which popped into my head in the future, so I discussed it with a speech consultant and then a cranium and neck surgeon) is that when we swallow, the food go into the back of our throat, and consequently down the tube. When it goes to the vertebrae of our throat, it can come into contact with the back/bottom part of a set of our nose . . . the sector that we don't see (if you have ever hockered pulling stuff from your proboscis or sinuses, this is the same place). When food comes into contact next to that area, it irritates it a bit bit -- so, our nose runs to stop the stray food, and get rid of it.
Sometimes, it doesn't work, and we find ourselves pulling sunflower nuts from the final inside of our nose a week after we've consumed them.
so does mine. i guess of late from genetics or if the food is hot
