I devour when I'm not hungry what can I do to stop?

I can't control myself around food even when I'm stuffed! What can I do to stop?

Answer:
you have to re-train your body to remember to drink only when it is hungry. everytime you want to chomp through, ask yourself if your really hungry. if your not, then dont devour it. soon enough the temptations will not get hold of the best of you and you'll be able to pace right by food you dont need.
Put the fork down.
i'm similar to that to. try brushing your teeth when you want to stop eating that track you feel approaching you dont want to mess up your teeth

or use mouth wash. try to do something else avoid food

Eat things that are healthy and will overrun you up
ughh i have like peas in a pod exact problem...well if you "think" you're hungry you should drink a full cup of hose down. or chew some gum..make yourself really busy and you'll forget roughly food.

Drink hose. Don't make it too cold so you single drink a little. It fill up your stomach plus you have something to do near your hands (lift, pour into mouth =P) so you attain distracted. Or chew gum, but i don't like to cos of the calories...

If you're an emotional eater* similar to I am, then my guidance would be to examine what triggers the need to chomp through. Parents have a collide? School stressing you out? Boyfriend do something dumb?

Once you have found out what triggers the want for emotional consumption try different techniques surrounded by order to buy and sell with the turbulent aspect of the situation. Punch a pillow if you're angry, write in a publication about the dumb article your boyfriend did, get on the phone and vent to someone something like school.

While the other suggestions are great for pro tem fixes, if you are indeed and emotional eater, they won't solve the problem. Gum isn't going to spawn you not want to eat that piece of cake you know would appetite so good. Water isn't going to minister to when you know there is that slice of unused pizza in the fridge. Deal beside the emotional nouns to eating, and you'll find that you don't stipulation it to fill the hole that be put there by anything you're going (or have gone) through. Good luck.

*Note - This is for the stormy eaters, like myself. Beyond this empire, I don't know.
