Wanting to start workouts?

I'm turning 30 and am about 15 pounds overweight. My main sport is golf, and would like advice on the most effective workout program for getting in shape. ( Not super muscles ) but cardio, strength and flexability. Also what what supplements are good for going the this program.

Well, you have the desire. That's where it has to begin. The main culprit in weight gain is SUGAR. It can be found in the obvious things like pop and candy. It can also hide in "healthy" foods like yogurt, some fruits, fruit juices, starchy foods, etc. So, check what you are eating and try to cut back on sugar. Do a combination of weight training with weights that you can handle and do 10 to 15 reps. That will tone your muscles and get your metabolism going. Add about 20 minutes of cardio every day and in 30 days, you'll lose the weight without supplements.
