YES it is and it DOES work just as long as you do own some carbs i have be on a low carb diet for 4 months and exercesing 6 days a week and have lost 20 pounds. Change from white bread to complete wheat bread i get the nature own double fiber bread, and to brown rice, wheat pasta if you MUST have that surrounded by you diet. The good entry about this is that you can hold all the meat you want so stack up on some heat chicken, pork chops , grilled chicken, fish and ground turkey and dont forget your VEGGIES!
