Whenever you can work contained by the time. It is usually better to do them at a specific time every day, but exercise is key at ANY time.
Exercise should be YOUR own routines on your own time. That's how I have to do it.

crunches you can do to tone (will not cause your belly smaller because they dont burn fat, the one and only fat burning exercise is cardio) - 15-25reps 2-3 sets twice a week is ample.
