Whats the most effectual path to attain bigger, stronger, more muscle??

I know everyone says the most vital thing is shifting it up to shock new muscle growth, protien shakes, proper diet etc. My workout routine other involves the SAME workouts for each muscle group, BUT i evolution the amount of sets and reps and weight every session, is that ample CHANGE, or is it crucial to change the type of workouts? Ive be stuck at pretty much the same bulk for a while, and basically a short time ago not getting much stronger, maybe respectively week i can do a couple more reps...
