recently i had a stroke no more than a month ago and ive gotten out of shape a lot and my gut got bigger so i need to know

If I read your post right it sounds like you are quite young yet you say you had a stroke? If that is the case I think any advice given should be run past your family doctor.
In any case you can't burn off a gut using an ab lounge, crunches, or situps. You can only burn off stomach fat by intense cardio excercise such as jogging, HIIT, cycling, jump rope, etc.
The ab lounge would help build muscle, but won't burn the fat so you need to reduce your caloric intake and pick up cardio excercise
As for the ab lounge itself you should do a full ab routine 3 times per week to start but try other excercises besides the ab lounge for best results so you work your stabilizer muscles and full core. Youtube actually has some good videos demonstrating various routines.
