If you hate running (so do I), don't do it. You won't relish it and it will be hard to stay motivated. Do anything exercise you enjoy and basically be consistent. You'll see results and working out won't seem resembling such a chore.
Yes this will work. It is convenient (in your own home) and you can vary the amount of your workout.
I love my Gazelle - my friends tease me around it - (not mean - of late jokeing) I also walk outside when I can. But I'm on my Gazelle at lowest possible 20 minutes every day.
Run atleast once aweek bu the gazelle will work to!!
