What are some apposite exercises for the legs?

Try brisk walking. I pace every weekday morning for an hour and cover approx 6 km.
Walking is one of the best exercises as it is low impact. You can set your pace and spilt up the session so that your put a bet on can have some nouns.
It works for the tummy and thighs. Add a swing to your arms as you walk. It increases heartiness consumption by another 30%. And with the right diet, it will work for the total body.
Another stress free exercise is swimming.

Squats
running is great for legs as well as the integral body! it firms up your legs and helps out yer cellulite
also squats are correct ^_^
Try these exercises:
1. Sit at a 90 degree angle against a wall and hold for as long as you can.
2. Lunges. give somebody a lift a big step and touch your back leg's knees to the floor and then hoist your back leg til it is even next to your front leg. Repeat using the other leg.

If trying to workout I would recomend a spotter and a lifting belt. These are all great exercises for your legs.
