Is it possible to loose 50 pounds within 5 months?

I would like to loose 50 pounds within 5 months. Im just wondering if this is a authentic goal? How abundant calories would I have to consume a sunshine? What type of exercise would I have to do, how heaps times per week and for how long? Thanks.
