Can I really lose one pound per day?

I just started this two week lymph detox diet that I found in a magazine. They claim you can lose one pound per day. I find this hard to believe. Do you think it's possible? Also, approximately how many calories do you think I'm consuming a day? I've written out what I'm eating. Thanks. :)

Make cranwater - 6 1/2 cups water and 1 cup cranberry juice

Before breakfast: 1 cup cranwater with 1 Tbls. flaxseed

Breakfast: 1 cup hot water with 1/2 juiced lemon, 2 eggs, and 1 cup steamed veggies

Snack: Cranwater

Lunch: 4 oz. soy and 1 cup veggies

Snack: 1 whole fruit or 1 cup mixed/chopped fresh or frozen fruit

Snack: Cranwater

Dinner: 4 oz. soy and 1 cup veggies

Snack: Cranwater

Snack: 1 whole fruit or 1 cup mixed/chopped fresh or frozen fruit

End with: 1 cup cranwater with 1 Tbls. flaxseed

Answer:
The detox diet can help you lose 1 lb a day but its not fat your losing. What it does it it cleanses out your intestines and colon so what your losing is the food thats digested and waiting to be flushed out.
If you want to lose weight thats actual fat being lost you can only do that by diet and exercise.
No diet that you find as an advertisement in a magazine really works.
U need to burn 3500 calories to lose 1 pound..and that only happens when u workout. it has nothing with eatin less food. nyway i think ur diet is btw 1200- 1500 cals.
instead of going through all that trouble. just eat 2 medium meals before 2 o' clock every day and you can lose up to 2lbs a day!!!!!!!
No, to loose a pound you need to burn 3500 calories, and the avarage woman eats 200 calories a day.
that is the worst diet plan i have ever seen. the whole detox concept is to dehydrate your body. you are not losing fat you are losing mostly water and muscle because there is hardly any protein and too few calories to be healthy at all.
Don't believe those "miracle" weight loss claims. If you lose weight on this diet, it is because your calories are restricted. I would definatly add more protein sources into your meals, and more whole grains. I think you may end up hungry after a while, which can lead to binging and then weight gain.

A healthy goal to aim for is two pounds a week. A pound a day is ridiculous.
This look like it is under 1000 calories, and you may notice that you get tired or hungry. This doesn't look to bad for two weeks, but be preapred to change your diet when it starts taking too much effort.

You may be able to lose ~ 10 pounds at 1 pound per day... but after that you are starting to lose 50% muscle and 50% fat.

A reasonable goal is 2 pounds per week, with exercise and protein to protect muscle...
