Loosing 3 lbs a week? okay or no?!?

i know you should aim from 1-2, but is 3 lbs okay if your excirsising, NOT just reducing your caloric intake where it isnt good..

If you are generally loosing 1-2 a week, with an occassional 3 pound loss (like once every other month or so), it's probably ok. But if you are loosing 3 pounds every week or almost every week, I'd back off a bit.
