The intake of calories matters and so does the amount of exercise.Doesn´t matter,when you sleep!
I've heard it doesn't matter when you eat or burn the calories, the result will be the same if you do it in the morning or evening. So I would say sleeping after a meal wouldn't lead to weight gain.
