How much protien do you want to help yourself to right after a workout?

Preferably 30-40 grams of a hastily digesting protein (whey or whey isolate-even better) its also recommended to consume simple carbohydrates post workout ( sugar or dextrose ) to aid in protein synthesis. Also try to consume a suspended meal 45-60 mins after your workout.
It adjectives depends on what your goals are. Do you want to grasp stronger, or simply tone up? I lift for strength and usually transport one or two scoops of my protein powder, wich is going on for 20 grams/scoop.
