squats are good for the thighs..within is an exercise and I think it's call a leg lift/lower. There is no such thing as spot cut rate. You need to lose overall body round and then those areas will seize smaller too. In the meantime you should do crunches for your abs..a strong core is a wonderful thing, even if it is covered next to fat. Upper thighs? Squats and lunges.
