I don't know how to tone my arms, legs, and stomach.?

Everytime I go to exercise I never tone up. The numbers just go down. How do you "tone"

if you want to tone your muscles not make them really big.. then do this..(this is what my coach does for basketball with me) do 5 or 10 pound dumbbells but do lots of reps and small amount of weight. like if you're using 5 lb dumb bells then do 20 reps .. and lay on your floor and raise then about your head and bring them back down do it slowly... over time within a week u will see an improvement trust me.. & for ur legs do leg presses a lot of times.. and get a excersize ball for you're stomach and do crunches on it.. it is actually better to use a ball then nothing at all
You can't just exercise a couple of times. I would reccomend to you to do more of the weight training. Go to the gym and use the weight machines there. Still do cardio, but gowith more weight training.

Lighter weights at higher reps. You have to be religious about it though.
