Is it true..?

that the average person burns 900 calories per afternoon just breathing and doing everyday things? My personal trainer say I need to burn more calories than I steal in to lose immensity. I usually burn 420 on the elliptical and I hold no idea on what I burn beside weights and stuff. So I dont know what I am burning a day. I usually turn to the gym for over an hour a day- close to an hour in a partially. I have lost alot of consignment so far- 13 lbs away from goal but I am lately curious if I am burning the right amount.

Depends on your height, bulk and age. It sounds as if you are burning enough. Sometimes the body get so accustomed to burning fuel that it doesn't burn as much and you'll have to transformation up your routine, just you can confer it another kick start.
Your trainer is right, but it is more complex than that and in that are things that can help you lose counterbalance faster - like kindness starvation mode.

I think it is around 1500 calories just to stay out of starvation mode (where your body tries to conserve, slows down, calorie burn rate and substance loss slows significantly). This is not even taking into account your extra comings and goings like burning 600 calories contained by the gym. If you enter starvation mode it is not a disaster, but you don't want to stay there long if you want to lose the most counterbalance... and you have so much more verve to fuel great workouts when you eat right. 1500 calories is a pretty nontoxic place to start, from there you listen to your body and dictation the weight loss on a day after day basis so you can brand adjustments.

It markedly vaires by height, mass, metabolism, and body composition (muscles require more calories than fat).

According to this calculator, I would need 2,100 per afternoon (my basal metabolic rate) classified as a oridnary/normal male at 6' 250 pounds. My moving rate would be almost 2,800 calories.

Not exactly. We all burn at different rates and a bigger human being burns more than a smaller person. For example my husband weigh 185, he needs 1,850 calories surrounded by 24 hours just to run automatic systems. I weigh 135 so I entail only 1,350 calories. I am highly active adjectives day and do 9 to 13 hours a week of energetic cardio activity. I continue my weight on 2,300 calories a morning (I'm 44 so metabolic rate lower). He exercises 4 times a week ( about 4 hours total), He consumes 2,500 calories to uphold his weight.

As for are you burning the right amount? You lost freight so - YES!! Good for you. Lost 70 pounds 4 years ago and am at my ideal consignment!
