Good weight loss diet!!?

im not overweight. but would like to get more in shape.
i need to know how many calories i should be eating a day and what foods will help out.

i'm 5'8 and usually have around 1800-2000 calories a day.
also, workout plans would be much appreciated!

I would consume 1000 calories, no higher, no lower. I'm an inch taller and a guy, and my trainer had me go down to 1200, but he told my friends that are girls to only have 1000 calories and do cardio and weight lifting.

Just have a lot of salads, lean protein, lots of water, and a little bit of carbs, dont cut out carbs completely.

Do cardio 4-5x a week, no more for about 45minutes. You should be soaking wet when your done and it should never be easy.
