Why do professional bodybuilders aim for 15 reps?
Do these guys know anything in the region of bodybuilding or do they just inject steroids surrounded by themselves?
Why do 15 reps when trying to get bigger?
Answer:
I see Jay at the gym adjectives the time and he does not only train single in that rep gamut. bodybuilders are always varying the number of reps that they perform depending on what phase of training they are within. a time under rigidity of 45-60 seconds per set is optimum to stimulate hypertrophy. this comes out to just about 6 seconds per rep or the 8-10 rep selection per set. so for a bodybuilder the 8-10 rep range is in actuality low so the 15-20 rep range is more contained by the medium category and elevated reps for bodybuilders is from about 20-50 reps per set. a highly developed rep range is needed to capably fatigue the slow twitch, intermediate and fast twitch muscle fiber types.
regardless of the rep ranges that are used during training the diet ultimately determines the size of the muscles. and this is exactly why 95% of the populace that train for size never achieve their goal. going to the gym and training is the easy piece but consuming 5-7 healthy meal daily for years on winding up is not.
Yawn.... zzzzzzz
Woops sorry my friend, just fell asleep near!
Tee hee.
I do 11 reps because its my favourite number.
& I do 2 sets.
:-)
Well it appears that is to say the ideal amount.
Say you are on your second even in training. This is where on earth you add an extra set of respectively exercise. If the reps where one and only ten it would be too easy so 2 sets of 15 reps is the best choice. third smooth 3 sets of 15 reps etc..
