Maybe you have a piece of food stuck beneath your gums thats causing the swelling, try and swish next to warm brackish water. I would guidance you to see your dentist. You might have a abscess and obligation antibiotics. Make sure you floss your teeth every night and morning as your gums stipulation to be healthy. it sounds like you enjoy an abcess in your jaw/gum..you must find it treated, drained and some antibiotics..it can make you really ailing if you leave it..and its really natural to treat...good luck.
it sounds similar to gingivitis. you need to floss and brush your gums on a daily basis. it might be related. my dad had something close to that. if it doesn't stop after three weeks, go to a dentist.
