Is Tylenol good for relieving pain associated with braces and extractions?

I heard lots of people use ibuprofen for this, i was wondering if Tylenol is a good substitute. Oh yeah, and I dont have braces yet, but I am very nervous about getting them...

Answer:
Tylenol is good, as is ibuprofen. The really good news is, if one doesn't do the trick, you can use them together. Just follow the dosage instructions for each.

As far as the pain, when you get your braces on or, later, adjusted, it may hurt for a couple of days. Once your teeth shift, the pain tends to subside. Make sure you brush, etc. well to avoid irritated gums.
You mean Kids Tylenol or asprin? If you mean asprin I think so. yeah, but I'm not completely 100% sure though. And I'm guessing that Kids Tylenol doesn't relieve pains like that... but.

Hope I Could Help
Yeah. What ever you are used to taking for pain. Don't worry about getting braces. Once you have them you will like them. They can be pain sometimes, worrying if your lunch is stuck in your braces, but you customize them with the colored bands. :)
Ibuprofen is the best thing to use. But you could use both together.
