Wisdom teeth stitches come out instead of dissolving?
Answer:
The factor of the resorbable suture that dissolved was the slice that's inside your gums. The part of the suture outside your gums don't "dissolve"-- they lately fall bad.
The depressions where the sockets used to be will give somebody a lift a few months to smooth out as the jawbone remodels. As long as they are covered by gum tissue you are OK.
What happened to you sounds average to me.
Nothing wrong with asking for a followup call round of course, if you are really worried.
i reckon you should see the doctor
I would imagine it's fine. I have dissolving stitches. If you are worried or concerned just beckon your dentist. They can tell you for sure.
I have 12 teeth pulled a couple years ago.
Including permananet teeth.
Some stitches will dissolve.
And some will come out.
Just as long as the hole is not bleeding you are fine :)
good luck
i know how you touch :)
