Get a letter from your dentist to say that you were treated and given novocaine in the days preceeding your drug test. Have that letter put into your personnel file if the bosses accuse you of anything drug related.
Sorry guy, "novocaine" hasn't been used in a long time, but to answer your question, "novocaine" can't cause a false positive.
Dentist rarely use Novocain anymore. There are better numbing agents out there that dentist use now.
