The cyst is located in sinus cavity above upper left wisdom tooth. Wisdom tooth was extracted but cyst did not go away. Oral surgeon is sending me to an ear, nose and throat specialist to see about having the cyst surgically removed. I really dont want to go under the knife. Has anyone had a similar problem? Did you have surgery? Was it general or local anestetic and was it outpatient surgery? Do you know of any alternatives to get rid of the cyst without surgery?
Answer:
I am afraid you don't have a choice but surgery, I had 2 removed at the same time I had my wisdom teeth pulled. General anesthetic. Out patient surgery. It really wasn't too bad. If you let it go sometimes they can get really large and disfigure your face.Good Luck
