How does the ortho take off braces?

i'm getting mine off soon, do they just pull them of or what? thanks :)

Answer:
We use a band and bracket remover. They are like a small pair of pliers with a point on one side and a cushion on the other. You just give a squeeze and off it pops. You need to do it about 12 times on top and bottom. Afterwards you get your teeth polished up and your life improves dramatically
No they don't pull them. They use a kind of scissors to cut them. They will put you to feel kind of druggy, is not going to hurt at all, plus you are going to feel great and look terrific. God Bless!
they have some kind of tool to take them off, i couldnt tell what they were using when i got mine off, but i do rememeber I didnt even know they were off, it feels very slimy... lol that was a goooooood day
