MY MOUTH... help please.?

only one little part of my gumline is swollen. only about a 1/8 inch not much. but its next to a tooth that has a cavity. what does this mean?

Answer:
Either you have been irritating the area by picking at it, or there is some food particle caught below the gum line. Flossing should remove it. If it does not--when you go to get the cavity fixed, ask your dentist to see if he/she can remove it.
