Calling all Dentists?
It would be nice once in a while.
And, could someone call my boss and let him know that?

well an assistant is a one who dentist really trusts and relies on !
as far as letting them know that is concerned i guess even if the dentist doesn appreciate it directly to him its more obvious the way he /she relies on him/her at work!
but yes one should definatly do that once a while as it boosts assistants confidence and they share a good rapport together which is essential ingriedient for a healthy practice!
Speaking as a dentist, I can say that I most certainly let my assistant know how much I appreciate her every time we're alone. I can also say that it's never caused me anything but pain and financial loss.
no we hate our assistants, they are so annoying constantly wanting praise.
Iam a dental assistant (Nurse) and i would just like to say we are never appreciated by dentists and its so annoying if it wasnt for us you would struggle,we do alot in the surgery day to day! and yet we get no appreciation because dentists think they are sooo much better than we are. Just because you are on a higher wage and have a peice of paper saying you are a dentist doesnt make you a better person!!!!
