i finally buckled down and bought some. how long before I see results? also, it doesn't say this on the box, but how many do I where a day? I work nights, so I'll put one on when I wake up (1-3 pm) and another at work 11-midnight.

You may see results in 4-8 weeks, but only marginal. These and all other teeth whitening stuff OTC use low percentage of peroxide, which is what get the teeth white. You may see 1-2 shade lighter only.
You can apply as many as you need to to get whatever teeth you need to be whitened.
Honestly, if you want really white pearly teeth, go see your dentist. Their stuff is at least 10 times higher peroxide than the ones we get at the store, so their cleaning solution really work well.
