Help. Last night I noticed a small black spot under my gums. I am NOT a Smoker!?
Answer:
I think you should see your dentist. Oral cancers come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. I hope this is not the case for you. I hope it's just a broken blood vessel or something, but it is best to be safe than sorry.
Smokers aren't the only people to get oral cancer.
if you are worried see a dentist.....
1. why are you relying on ByeDr.com for medical support?
2. why did you wait this long before doing anything about it?
Here's some advice. Don';t waste your time online trying to find the answer go to the dentist and let him/her tell you.
I wish I could reassure you but I can't, you need to go get a qualified opinion. Make an appointment to see your dentist as fast as you can to get yourself peace of mind..
Im sure its fine, but better to be safe than sorry!
i think it is GO TO A DENTIST!!
uhh i hate going there... i typed the "D" word!!??!!
idk
go to the dentist whenever you can, like whenever close as possible to today you can make an appointment.
my mom had a root cavity and she waited too long and her whole left cheek swelled up and it made it worse, and it hurt for days, so go get it checked before it makes it hard to fix.
does it look like a bruise? I have one and the dentist hasn't said anything about it... I have had that spot for a year and 1/2.
