? temporary dental filling?
Anyone had experience of using a temporary filling? what material did you use? Did it work?
Answer:
I was with my dentist last week because a filling fell out but she couldn't put in a permanent one because I have a bad infection in the tooth so she gave me a course of antibiotics to clear up the infection. In the meantime she put in a temporary filling I don't know what it is put it went in soft and was hard after 5 minutes. You can eat, chew and bite normally. This filling lasts 4 to 6 weeks. On the 14th of August I will be getting in the permanent one. I have no bother with it. It works the same as the real one but doesn't last as long. It is only to tie me over until the infection clears up. It is worth getting down without it the tooth would get damaged. Doing this saves the tooth.
can buy a product over the counter at most chemists called toofy pegs. all you do is put in hot water to soften it and bobs your uncle. ive used it many times and yes it works
Listen to "daftoldwoman" and whatever you do don't try to "glue" it back in like a daft friend of mine.. he used superglue thanks to the advice from a plonker... could have poisoned himself..
