Dry socket?
Answer:
try to rinse with thaw out water and saline, the area it may be inflamed as the tissue try to alleviate. the condition of alveolar osteitis (dry socket) some times is caused by food retained within the socket after the extraction . if it persist christen your dentist and inform him about this. if it is dry socket he will hold to clean the nouns with period of war saline and eugenol(an antibiotic , anti inflammatory and anesthetic). good luck.
HELLO CRYSTAL,
IF YOU HAD DRY SOCKET YOU'D KNOW IT. THE PAIN IS ABSOLUTELY EXCRUCIATING. IT'S NOT JUST AN ACHE BUT A PAIN THAT IS A LEVEL OF 10 ON A SCALE OF 1:10.
DRY SOCKET IF IT WILL OCCUR HAPPENS IN THE FIRST 24-48 HOURS AFTER EXTRACTION.
YOU PROBABLY HAVE SOME FOOD THAT GOT TRAPPED WITH THE HEALING SOCKET. THE PAIN OF A DRY SOCKET IS 24/7 FOR SEVERAL WEEKS, NOT JUST AN ACHE THAT OCCASIONALLY FEELS BETTER.
TRY SWISHING WITH WARM SALT WATER EVERY DAY FOR A FEW DAYS, AND YOU'LL BE BETTER SOON.
Hi sweetie! i dont regard this is a dry socket although it could be an infected socket. Try to clean the nouns as much as possible you can use hot salty dampen or an anti-bacterial mouthwash. If the pain is still present you can try and combine paracetamol near ibuprofen as you can mix these two safely and it works great on headache as ibuprofen contains an anti-inflammatory, hope i have help!
