its your choice if you want to correct something in your mouth, than yea, you can other get braces.
everyone's different. i enjoy braces and people ask me why i get them, but i've had them for roughly two years now. you should jump see a orthodontist if your really interested in getting them. if you dont want them i guess you dont own to get them.

well mostly everyone requirements braces if you go to an orthodontist they other find something wrong with a smile
i have braces for two years ( but i needed them ) if you have the luck of having without a flaw straight teeth then do it
I work at an orthodontist bureau...And it's very firm to say if you have need of braces without looking at your teeth...What I would utter is call an orthodontic department most offices present 1st visit free. So it won't hurt calling and have a free vist to see what the Dr has to voice. Best wishes & Good luck!
