Getting wisdom teeth pulled?

Once you get them out and whatnot, how long should you typically rest before going out again?
I realize that everyone is different, but I really want to know.

Answer:
The typical healing period is three days. The second day is peek swelling and it will start to go down after that. Some people are up the next day and some are down for four (sissy's). Typical three days. Hope that helps.
Well, mine never caused me pain, so why get them out? Can I ask why you're removing them? I've heard a week of bedrest from some people, some more, and some less. It's supposed to be really painful.
Personally, if they're not causing pain they're staying in my mouth.
I really don't know because I'm only 15. sorry, but good luck!
my friends got them out and didn't go to school only because their cheeks were so puffy and funny looking...
but only for a couple of days. then they were back at swim practice lol. but i don't think they were supposed to exercise for like a week...i think that's what they said.
You know...when I got my wisdon teeth pulled I was pretty groggy the day of and a little bit sore. I ate a painkiller, went to bed, and woke up the next morning feeling perfectly fine. The most uncomfortable thing for me was being able to feel the sutures and the holes in my gums.

I would make sure that you have some soft food on hand like yogurt, pudding, or ice cream for the day of. I remember being hungry and not really being able to eat. Also, make sure that you have somebody to drive you home if you are going to go to sleep during the procedure.

Good luck!
when i took mine out - i was in major pain for the first 2 days . doctor gave me loratab, when ever i felt pain i would take it . then after the 2 days you really can't eat anything cuz your bite is kind of not right (can't clench your teeth together). so you could only eat jello and noddles,-- that goes away after 2 weeks . thats all . i took mine out in April 04 and since then every april i feel some pain . it's weird . my friends all have difftent experinces . i looked like a chipmunk for about a week but a friend of mine was fine no swelling no pain . i didn't go out cuz my face looked really bad everyone told me i looked ok but heck no i knew i looked funny . but if you don't care then you can go out after 2 days . agian it could be simple no pain no swelling- i hope it's like that for you .
i got mine out when i was 10 years old, my bottom ones, surgically removed

i was in major pain for the first 2 days

but i took about a week to fully recover, from the swelling, stiches, pain, numbness.
