My ortho took close to 5 hours to install my braces, and fractured one of my teeth surrounded by the process.?

Do I have any type of recourse, or is that simply one of the possibilites of getting braces, that you may be injured during the process. I was told yesterday that I stipulation a crown for the fractured tooth, of which my current insurance covers all but $300.

Answer:
i get my braces on in 2 hrs..im not sure if that be suppose to happen
most reputable orthodontist will insist you draw from a release from your regular dentist before birth orthodontia. If this is the case and the ortho really did simply {fracture the tooth} I would ask him to foot your out of pocket expenses. If however there is oxidization or a pre-existing crack etc. you are out of luck. I am sure you signed a consent that covers the orthodontist on cases like that. The time point could mean he measured respectively tooth and really took his time or it could mean your teeth be in really really poor alignment or he could lately be slow or new Did you research him in the past beginning treatment.
it conspicuously should not take 5 hours to grasp your braces put in! it lone took an hour for me! and if they messed up your teeth during the process then they should steal full responsibility for that!
i believe the not so dumb blonde won this one!!

It sure sounds good anyway
you hold to be very sure that your doctor be not negligent. ask for a copy of your accounts and show them to an attorney. you can always natter to the orthodontist first and see how much he is willing to compensate towards to the treatment.
